Both are first-party (set by rakd.club only), sent only over HTTPS, and not readable by page scripts. No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies are used. Essential cookies can’t be switched off, because signing in and staying secure depend on them.
How we remember your choice
So we don’t keep asking, your answer is remembered in up to three ways:
- the
rakd_consentcookie in this browser; - your RAKD Club account, if you’re signed in, so it follows you to other devices;
- a one-way, scrambled fingerprint of your internet (IP) address, so clearing cookies on the same network doesn’t bring the question back. We store only this fingerprint, which can’t be turned back into your address, never the address itself, and we stop using it after a year.
